Donna Smith, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF
Donna Smith is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Business Valuator and is certified in Financial Forensics. She has recently received certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution. As a financial advisor, Donna Smith has been evaluating both for profit businesses and projects of not for profit organizations for over fifteen years, preparing reports, such as, business valuations, loss calculations, funding applications, feasibility studies, cash flow projections, and business plans. Donna advises clients on a range of business issues, including the reasonableness of the purchase price of a business, potential funding sources, the risk factors and/or potential return of new projects, and business exit plan options

Christiana Danso
Christiana Danso, an Associate at bain smith business valuation + consulting, is a graduate from
Lakehead University with a Master of Arts Degree in Economics with Co-op Option. Christiana has been
assisting in preparing market assessments, feasibility studies, business plans, cost-benefit analysis,
business valuations and other consulting assignments. By applying her strong analytical and research
skills, Christiana has developed her expertise in data analysis and market research and is looking forward
to working with clients around Northern Ontario. Prior to working with bain smith consulting, Christiana
worked her co-op terms at Indigenous Services Canada. -
Hitasha Malhan
Hitasha Malhan, an Associate at bain smith business valuation + consulting, holds a Master of Business
Administration degree and is currently working towards her Chartered Business Valuation designation.
Hitasha has been assisting in preparing market assessments, feasibility studies, business plans, needs
assessment, business valuations and other consulting assignments. By applying her strong analytical and
research skills, Hitasha has developed her expertise in data analysis, needs assessment and market
research. She has worked on a variety of projects with bain smith consulting over the past year,
including the development of healthcare operating models for First Nations in Northwestern Ontario. -
Sola Waite
Sola Waite has over 20 years’ experience in providing financial and accounting advice, as well as a background of providing support in a variety of capacities to First Nation communities. Sola has been working in areas of administration, finance, litigation and valuations.
